Agreeing to how we use your child's data is now its own step

You now agree to how we store your child's data after your account is secured, on a page that explains it.

Signing up used to ask for your consent on the first form, squeezed in next to your password. We have moved it.

Setting up an account now takes five steps:

  1. Create your account.
  2. Confirm your email.
  3. Set up your 6-digit sign-in code.
  4. Agree to how we use your child's data.
  5. Add your child.

Step 4 has a page to itself. In four short points, it says what we store, why, and what we never do with it. Then you tick one box. Our build plan puts consent after the sign-in code, so your account is secured before you share anything about your child.

Later on, we may publish new terms of use or a new privacy notice. If that happens, we will ask you once to read and agree to the new version. You won't be asked again until something changes.

If you already have an account, nothing changes for you today.
