Every person on our team now has their own login
Our team no longer shares one admin login. Each person signs in as themselves, sees only what their job needs, and leaves their name on everything they do.
Until today, our small team signed into the behind-the-scenes tools with one shared login. That was fine for building the first version. It is not fine once real children's data is involved, so we have changed it.
What changed
- Everyone signs in as themselves. Every action, from editing a question to opening a child's record, is logged with the name of the person who did it.
- People only see what their job needs. Someone who writes questions can't open children's records. Someone who helps families with support can't publish questions. There are six roles, and each person gets only the ones they need.
- Looking at a child's record needs a reason. Before anyone on the team opens a learner's details, they type why. For example, it might be support request 142 that you sent us. That reason goes into the log with their name.
- Two people check every question. The person who writes a question can't approve it. A second person reviews it, and our curriculum lead publishes it.
You won't see any of this when you use Math Revision. It changes who can see your child's data behind the scenes. And if you ever ask who looked, we can tell you.
