Quiet hours now follow Singapore time
We fixed a mistake that made quiet hours and the daily limit use the wrong clock.
We found and fixed a mistake. Our servers keep time in UTC, which is eight hours behind Singapore, and a few features were reading that clock directly instead of converting it to local time.
What was affected
- Quiet hours. If you set quiet hours from 9pm to 7am, the reminder to rest was showing at the wrong times of day.
- Today's minutes and the daily limit. The day was resetting at 8am instead of midnight.
- The study week. Weekly totals were starting on Monday at 8am instead of at midnight.
- Session times on your child's page. These showed UTC times rather than Singapore times.
What we changed
Everything that depends on the time of day now uses Singapore time. Your settings haven't changed, and your child's practice history is unaffected. Only the way we read the clock has changed.
We are sorry for the confusion. We have added automatic checks so this mistake can't quietly return.
